Category

Indicate if the project is NEW, REMODEL or BOTH.  NEW refers to a new structure or an addition. REMODEL refers to work executed on an existing building. BOTH indicates some amount of NEW and some amount of REMODEL. If you indicate BOTH, please indicate the percentage of each category.

Bid Date

Indicate the date valid construction bids were recieved, by month and year.

Completion Date

Indicate the month and year of the completion of construction, if not completed use the anticipated completion of construction.

Final Construction Cost

Include all change orders (CO), seperate construction contracts related to the work, hazardous materials abatement, demolition, on and off site development costs and signage.

Construction Cost Per Square Foot

This field is calculated for you. The calculation is based upon the Final Construction Cost divided by the Area.

Significant Site Cost

This is a YES or NO response use to qualify the total cost of project. Additional information regarding significant cost can be entered in the comments section.

Change Orders (CO) as % of Bid

This field is calculated for you. If you have more than one contract on the project, sum all change orders on all contracts and enter that number. The calculation is based upon the Change Order Total divided by the Awarded Bid Price.

Furniture, Equipment and Miscellaneous

Indicate the toral costs for free-standing and modular furniture, movable equipment (excluding building systems equipment), communications and major miscellaneous items.

Project Control Costs

All in-house or out-sources consultant "soft costs", like: architects, engineers, construction managment, project managment, testing, inslection, special consultants or services (kitchen, acoustics, security, hazardous materials, etc.), EIR, programming, space planning, models, presentations, surveys, soils & geotechnical reports, master planning, independent cost opinions, legal cost, and administrative services.

A/E Fee as % of Construction

This field is calculated for you based upon the A/E Fees divided by the Final Construction Costs.

Total Project Costs

This field is calculated for you.

Project Cost per Square Foot

Claims

Needs a YES or NO response and indicates whether any unsettled claims at the completion of construction.

Litigation
