The Internet is an amazing tool. It has the power to change the way we live, and we're starting to see that potential today. With only a few mouse-clicks, you can follow the news, look up facts, buy goods and services, and communicate with others from around the world. It's important to CCAEA.ORG to help our members and other interested persons retain their privacy when they visit our site.

To protect your privacy, CCAEA follows five principles in accordance with worldwide practices for customer privacy and data protection.

PRINCIPLE 1 -- NOTICE
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (Personal Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally this information is requested when you send CCAEA a Project DataSheet, Membership Form or you subscribe to the mail list.

PRINCIPLE 2 - CONSENT
If you choose not to provide personal information, you can still use most of the CCAEA.ORG web site. But you will not be able to access areas that require membership.

CCAEA.ORG occasionally allows other companies to offer our registered members information about their products and services, using postal mail only. If you do not want to receive these offers, please tell us this in your notification.

PRINCIPLE 3 - ACCESS
We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may request by email what we have on file for your review. If you request that we update this information, it will be done within 24 hours of your request, with a confirmation email sent to you. We are working on a feature allowing you to do this online.

PRINCIPLE 4 - SECURITY
CCAEA.ORG strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. PERIOD.

PRINCIPLE 5 - ENFORCEMENT
If for some reason you believe CCAEA.ORG has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail and we will do our best to determine and correct the problem promptly.

Parents or guardians: we want to help you guard your children's privacy. We encourage you to talk to your children about safe and responsible use of their Personal Information while using the Internet.
